March 10, 2016 - Happy 15th Birthday!!!

March 22, 2016 - Laura, I wanted to let you know that I had to put Starbuck to sleep.  She went downhill the past couple days. 
Today, she was in pain and couldn’t do stairs.  Picking her up hurt her so much.  This made the decision easier for me.  I am home alone, PJ at school, and Jim and Matt on a college trip down south.  I was home because she couldn’t go anywhere anymore.  Her “senior moments” were constant and besides being confused most of the time her anxiety (which was always an issue) was severe at times.
Thank you so much for letting me be her mommy.  What a lovely dog and such an important part of my life, JIm’s and the boys childhood. Love, Kathleen

May 26, 2011 - "... I need to tell you the sad news that Rocket died today..."
"He was the best, most loyal, most lovable dog I have ever had in my life.  He was my shadow and I am devastated about losing him.  We still have Venus who is 11 yrs and is enjoying the extra attention she's getting right now.  I'm not sure how she'll react when Rocket doesn't return.  My son, David, now 19, and I were with him at the end...
In the future, there may be another dog for me, but right now no one can replace Rocket.
Thank you for letting me have him to be a part of our family.
