Conformation Laura Dedering Judging

Breeder Field Obedience

My interest in show dogs began at the tender age of 7, when a dog show handler, who was the daughter of a family friend, began taking me with her to local shows. I was addicted from then on.
For many years, I attended shows and took notes, knowing that the Labrador was the breed for me. In 1978 I called Marilyn Reynolds (Finchingfield) to inquire about the Ch. Briary Brendan of Rainell x Ch. Briary Bustle litter due in July. Bustle was a daughter of Ch. Briary Bonnie Briana whom I had seen and loved. Also, the Lockerbie background was what I wanted, having fallen in love with the head shot of Lockerbie Blackfella in Helen Warwick’s red book. Marilyn allowed me to have "Raven" who became my first Champion, Ch. Finchingfield Folklaur,
and she is the foundation behind every Folklaur.
I became enamored with Tibetan Spaniels and obtained my first, Chadwick Meadowlark, in 2014 through the generosity of Anne Eckersley (Chadwick Spaniels).
All of my dogs are housepets having only 3-5 at a time. We do conformation, obedience, therapy and some fun field work.
